The Green Room is committed to providing a high quality music education for every student. There are many expenses involved in running a studio, but at The Green Room, every effort is made to provide maximum value for families in an affordable, fair, and efficient manner. The studio policies are designed to minimize
the time and energy spent on bookkeeping and scheduling so that it can be
devoted instead to working with students.

Payment
Students will receive an invoice (via e-mail) at the end of each month for the upcoming month. Payment is due on the day of the first lesson of the month by either by cash or check made out to The Green Room; checks can also be sent through the mail or via on-line bill pay through you bank. The monthly tuition breaks down into 30.00 per half hour with a discount given for multiple siblings in a family.
Fees are subject to change.
Some months will only be 3 week months due to holidays or teacher vacation time;
some may be 5 weeks due to the calendar.
Tuition for a 4 week month:
$120 for half hour sessions
$180 for 45 minute sessions
$240 for full hour sessions
Young beginning students start at one half hour lesson per week;
Adults, and Intermediate to Advanced level students are encouraged to sign up for a 45-minute to 1-hour lesson per week.
Music books and individual pieces will not be included in the base fee for the lessons. The teacher will purchase lesson books to match the specific needs of each student at the lowest price available. Each student will receive, on their monthly invoice, the fee for new books (when new books are needed) and the reimbursement should be included in monthly payment.

When You Need to Miss Your Lesson
The Swap List: Students will be given a contact sheet of all students in the studio who wish for their name, number, e-mail, and lesson time to be given out. Sticking to the schedule is most convenient for me so that I know who is coming each day, but if you cannot make your regular lesson time, you are welcome to call another student and swap times for that week.
Students will only be granted make-up lessons due to illness or emergency when another opening is available in the week of the absence.

- a metronome(or there are plenty of good apps for metronomes on any smart-device!)
- a notebook for teacher note-taking at lessons
- (piano students) piano tuning and maintenance
- (vocal students) an audio recording device--either a smart-device or a digital voice recorder
